We are Nancy and Jim Devine.
We reside with our beloved dogs on 30 beautiful acres, one mile off the road, at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, in Mount Airy, North Carolina We enjoy showing our Cairn and Cesky terriers. We have several champions and are selectively breeding for temperament, health and conformation. Our dogs are all house dogs and beloved family members. They take turns sleeping with us in the bed. We enocourage interested families to come for a visit and introduce themselves to our dogs, they always love to meet new people and so do we. Our pupies are born in our bedroom in a special birthing box that is up off the floor to prevent the pups from getting chilled due to a draft. At 3 weeks of age they are moved to a large X-pen in our den. At 5 weeks they are allowed out of the X-pen a couple of hours a day to explore and run in our den/kitchen area which is about 16'x 30'. At this age we introduce them to children. By 6 weeks old they are 85% paper trained. During the 8 to 12 weeks that they are with us, they enjoy playing and exploring outside for 2 hours each day weather permitting and are taken out regularly for potty purposes.
